2. Clean or Replace the Spark Plug

- Carbon deposits
- Metallic deposits
- Carbon deposits
These deposits can insulate the spark plug, preventing it from firing (source). As a result, your Hisun Strike 250 won’t start.
To rid the spark plug of these deposits, follow these steps:
- Remove the plug from the engine.
- Inspect the spark plug for deposits.
- If the deposit is light, you can try to clean it with a wire brush. If the deposit is thick, you’ll need to replace the spark plug.

- If your Hisun Strike 250 has been stored for an extended period of time, the insulation on the wires may have deteriorated. In this case, you’ll need to replace the entire wiring harness.
- Once you’ve checked all of the wiring, try starting the UTV again.
5. Check for a Faulty Starter Solenoid
The starter solenoid is responsible for sending electrical current from the battery to the starter motor when you turn on the ignition—so if it fails, your UTV won’t start either (source).
